Lesley joined the Society after completing a year of tuition under Angie Girling who taught her about observing, measuring, shading and colour mixes.  Previously Lesley had painted as a teenager and then nothing until retirement.  Lesley’s preference is for watercolours and her painting has always been instinctive but a love of flowers in her home and garden drew her to Angie’s course.  Her aim is to try and find more time to put into practice all she has learnt.
