Early life on a Herefordshire family farm meant Lyn had always felt the privilege of having the freedom to wander by the River Wye, through orchards and fields and be curious about plants and animals.  After much travelling in the 1970s and then working in an auctioneers for years Lyn attended the botanical painting school at the Chelsea Physic Garden on their year long diploma course run by Course Director Anne Marie Evans.  She enjoys painting in watercolour and regularly exhibits with BSBA.
